CURRENT POSITION OF INDIAN GAMES

Firstly,We should know what is the exact mean of SPORT. In point of my view, S = Stimulate, p = Pizzaz, O = Overachieve, R = Radicalism, and, T = Technician.why didn't we get a good position in sports except cricket it is the major issue facing by India today. I have some points regarding with this issue. 1.PROMOTE SPORTS IN SCHOOLS- Sports must be declared compulsary in schools and promoted as culture.

School coaches should double up as talent spotters who help catch talent young. But in the recent news, sadly, official statistics (2004-05) show that 50% schools in india don't even have a playground. 2.IMPROVE INFRASTRUCTURE- Only proper infrastructure at the grassroot level can search young talent. We can see that many playgrounds in the cities being turned up by residential complexes. The future of spectator sports lies in the small towns and villages. which is why it is important to offer decent facilities in small towns as well. Let us not forget that our Beijing Boxing triumph was fashioned in a small Harayana town,Bhiwani. We need to improve existing infrastructure too. India has about 20 astrouturfs for hocky compared to Holland's 400 and Australia's 350. 3. ADMINISTRATION NEEDS PROFESSIONALS-Bjp leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra heads archery fedration of India since 1973. Priya Ranjan Das Munshi presides over AIFF since 1988. When he took over India was ranked around 95 in World Football. Now it is 153. The truth is that politicians heading sports bodies have abysmally failed to deliver. They should make way for professionals professionalising sports bodies is a pre-condition to excelling in any sport. 4.TRAINING FOR COACHES-There is hardly anybody in India with a comprehensive knowledge of training, recovery and rehabilitation.we need to spend on specialists who can train coaches and physiotherapestes. This will make a big deffrence at the grass roots level and these young athelets will go on to win laurels for the country.

5. INCREASE BUDGET ALLOCATION- India's sports budget for the year 2005-06 was Rs. 292 crores. That was just 0.06 % of the natinal budget. Australia spends roughly four times more than us with a population sixty time less. The goverment can surely spent a little more on sports.

6.CORPOTRATE SUPPORT- Whenever athelets or teams do well , it is common for corporate groups to announce huge cash awards or offer life time free air tickets. All that is welcome but with exceptions-the private sector has seldom offered planned support. There is a need for corporates to seriously incourage sports at the grassroot levels.

It is thus time to stop thinking and debating much more and to just get on with the action!Rimember that thinking can happen from even a rocking chair but doing must happen on your feet.

Thinking may be a great way to get things started but doing is the only way to get things done.So take the right step, reach the right direction and seek the right guidence.

Thank You

How to crack CAT 2008

Dear Friend
if you want to get a good score in CAT 08 so firstly we should know exactly about CAT.it is the game of your cool mind within that period when you will appear in CAT. At that time no. of heartbeat should be same as today. We have only 30 to 35 days from now upto CAT.so you should start to practisize how to relax our mind. You should know what is the difference between sound of your heart and your mind.you should recognize that sound of which system (heart or mind),we should follow, according to my view if you should start to follow according to your mind rather than your heart,so you don't need to focus other things as like your living standard ,your attitude your communication skills and etc.Because this type of thing will be developing with your time. And also, you should focus that how to change your negative mind to positive mind, because it is not sure that when did change your mind in negative context.if as this do in your actual exam, then at that time what will you do?. I would like to suggest you that you should have motivational thoughts to eliminate this type of condition so i will suggest you should invest only 15 to 30 mins to read this type of thoughts.
In the last I want to say you that we should enjoy in each moment of your life despite you read. Best of luck for CAT 08.

THE WORLD OF RETAIL

We know that international business may conduct its operations with scraps of paper, but the ink it uses is human blood. We cover the whole retail sector in detail in this issue.Just over two years ago, India's largest private sector company, Reliance Industries , announced its grand entry into what remains one of the biggest, and largely unexplored mkts any where in the world - the $ 350 billion Indian retail mkt.South India base retail major subhiksha is busy denying media reports of its sell off plans even as rumours of smaller retail chains looking for buyers flying thick and fast. Its time for realty check for the Indian retail sector. Ril. retail with a target of 1000 stores by the end of 2007, has managed only 735 outlets till july this year. The company has booked a net loss of Rs. 10.99 crores last year on reported revenues that how ever 1% of its total sells which was Rs. 1. 39 trillion. Let's put things in perspective. Three yrs back , organised retail in India was expected to grow as fast as 38 % annualy. The global management consultency, A T kearney had announced India's arrival as the hottest retail destination. Yet, Indian organised retail is still for from the target of becoming a $ 60 billion industry by 2o11. Few people say that India is a poor country , each time I answered, no, India is rich because her people have this special quality. Our vision of India can't be one that is half california and half sub saharan africa. This clarity may be needy it poverty is to be eradicated and if globalization has to be adopted whole heartly. Even Wal Mart- the world's biggest retailer- hopes to open its first cash and carry store only by 2oo9, a full three yrs after announcing its collaboration with Bharti Retail.
DITTO FOR TESCO, UK's biggest retailer that is yet to help out TATA trent's operations through a cash and carry initiative. From north to south, From East to West , Every where a distinct culture evolved. The era of globalization triggered off a new wave of change in the Indian society. The present retail enviornment is very challenging. Add retail analysts Piyush Sinha, who is a part of marketing faculty at IIM AHD said, Just adding numbers or bringing in foreign players does'nt ensure success unless you have operational efficiency and that will come only with time. We know that in retail , process are continuously evolving in accordance to the customer's tastes and choice. clarity , vision and action must work in tandem if there is to be any substantial achieve in any field. Finally I would like to wish all my young friends , if they want to go in the retail sector they should be started to talk with developers, about a conversion to a revenue sharing model from now.
